Mara + Ivan | Snow Basin wedding

The best couple ever. Β

I had the best time photographing these two and being a part of their wedding day. While I'm taking a little break from weddings to have my sweet, I constantly am grateful for my clients I've had and enjoyed watching their love grow and being a part of it! Β

Hope you love and enjoy! Β

Hailey + Cash | A Cape Cod Wedding

Cash and Hailey, two of the sweetest, kindest people I have truly ever met. There is nothing I love more then seeing the immediate love beam from a brides face and Hailey definitely had that.

Shooting in Cape cod meant so much to me as well, being back where my mom grew up and getting to be by the ocean. With a small romantic ceremony and reception it left plenty of time for the two of them to enjoy their day and take it all in.

I asked Hailey to share a little bit of her story with us below! Enjoy!

Cash and I met in Thailand on a study abroad in 2009. We were friends first but when we got home after our trip in Thailand we went on a date and it started from there. We have been together for 6 years before he proposed. So it wasn't a shocker when he proposed, I figured it would happen sooner than later. He proposed to me up in Park City at the St. Regis the day after my birthday with a book he had made by a professional illustrator. It was a children's book of our entire relationship from start to finish. The last page was of him proposing and when I looked at him he was down on one knee :)

Dress: Marys bridal
Rings: antique from O.C. Tanner.
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Earrings: Antique, Cash's grandmas
Bridesmaids apparel: Davids Bridal, earrings Etsy: the fab bridal jewelry

Suit: Prada

Ring: Gold N' Diamonds.

Watch: Tag Heuer
Groomsmen:Ties from H&M

As for the theme of the wedding I wanted the characteristics of a Bohemian/Nautical/Secret Garden/Romantic wedding look. We got married in the back yard of our neighbors house which was right by the water. So we figured the less decorations the better because the back drop was beautiful enough. Same for the reception. It was right on the ocean which was beautiful.

The favorite part of my day was the ceremony. I made sure to remind myself of the feelings and emotions I was feeling as I said my vows to him. I have never felt so happy, emotional, and loved in my life.

Brynn + LJ | Portland Wedding

Oh this wedding!

This past December, I went to the beautiful PNW to photograph these beautiful people's wedding. You can see my travel photos from this trip here

We started the day getting ready at Byrnn's house. We did a few formals before we left to the beautiful Portland Temple. It's surrounded by pine trees, you feel like you're in the middle of a forest! We did more formals after, some around the city and a few more in the forest behind her parent's house. They finished off the evening with a cozy, intimate reception in their house.

I love this part of the country, so if anyone wants to elope here, let me know!

xoxo Emmy

Maddie & Michael | Salt Lake Hardware Building Wedding

These two had such a wonderful day. If you've been following along for a minute, you might remember them from this beautiful Autumn formal session. Maddie's dress was so so pretty, and Michael was just so sweet with her. Their reception was at the Salt Lake Harware Building, and the vibe matched them perfectly! The exposed brick and high ceilings are perfect for photographing!

I'm so glad that they had me along for their day. Can't wait for all of my 2016 brides!

Danzi & Mark Wedding | Lindon, Utah

This wedding was a beautiful one, full of lots of special moments. Danzi spent the afternoon getting ready, surrounded with her close friends and mom. One of my favorite parts of this day, was that both Danzi and her mom did not see the decorated reception until after the ceremony. After Danzi and Mark were wed, Danzi and her mom were led into the reception area to see how beautiful it was! So special for the two of them to be able to share that.

After Danzi's dance with her dad, it was Mark and his mom's turn. To the surprise of everyone (including Danzi) Mark and his mom busted it out in all sorts of dance moves to a mashup of hilarious songs. Yep, it even included gangnam style. The laugh on Danzi's face is priceless.

These two had such a perfect wedding day, filled with TONS of laughs and fun.

Summer & Rhett | Sand Dune Love

Summer and Rhett, I just love that I was able to spend so much time with these guys documenting their love. If you missed it, we went up to Albion Basin for their engagements, click here to see.

For their bridals, we ventured out to the sand dunes at Little Sahara for some desert love. Summer's gorgeous bouquet brought hues of autumn to the sand, and once again their love was infectious enough to fill their frames with little giggles and loves.

A big congratulations to these two loves on their wedding day today!
