Hartle Family | Utah Mountains

Uhm, cutest family. From mom's top knot to the kid's cute little boots, this family was dressed so sharp! I love how they were not matchy-matchy, but still looked so great together! I think they're such a great example of what works for dressing for family photos. I hear all the time from mom's that they're stressed about how to dress everyone for their shoot, but it really is so easy! Pick a palate, not just one color and then let everyone's personality come through in their accessories

Take a look at these cuties for some inspiration for your family shoot!

Snowy Family Shoot | Utah Mountains

As much as I tease on here about missing summer and warm skies, I love days like this. The canyons here in Utah are just unreal, and when mixed with a beautiful family like this, you get magic. I've photographed Destiny and her little babe Honor a million times, but it was special this time to get to see little Honor with her dad!

I get to photograph many incredible things and moments, but the sweet bond between parent and child is one of my favorites. And one that I think is something that is really treasured by the family for a long time after.

So if you live in a snowglobe right now like me, make sure to go have a snowball fight and snuggle your little ones!

Erik & Eva Bridals | Big Cottonwood Canyon

So yesterday these two graced the blog with their beautiful wedding at Cactus and Tropicals. If you missed it, it's right....here.  We did their bridals after their wedding, which I think is so fun if you want the first time he sees you in your dress be when you walk down the aisle!

We drove up to one of my favorite spots in Big Cottonwood (before ALL of the snow showed up). Eva had her hair and makeup done by Jill,  and I loved how the makeup brought out Eva's natural beauty! Rachel did her bouquet, and the rich reds and succulents were perfect for the autumn mountain colors.

We have only TWO spots left for the fall For the Love retreat next August. Make sure to click here or email me at forthelove@emmylowephoto.com if you want more info!

10 Year Anniversary | Winter Shoot

10 years. Ten years of life, babies, and memories and here they were . Still full of love for each other, you could tell by the way their eyes met the other.

We braved the freezing cold to get these beautiful  winter shots, and by the end this became one of my favorite sessions. To be able to document the love of these two after ten years was pretty incredible.

Classic Beauty | Jaime and Curtis

Look at this gorgeous woman..I love nothing more than a classic beauty. Jaime had such a sense of elegance to her, from the way she carried herself to her timeless dress and red lip. We ventured up Big Cottonwood canyon, one of my favorite Utah mountain spots, which made a perfect backdrop for these two. They recently said their vows out of state, and while I'm so sad I couldn't be there, I am so happy that these two are now married!!
