The best couple ever.
I had the best time photographing these two and being a part of their wedding day. While I'm taking a little break from weddings to have my sweet, I constantly am grateful for my clients I've had and enjoyed watching their love grow and being a part of it!
Hope you love and enjoy!
Cash and Hailey, two of the sweetest, kindest people I have truly ever met. There is nothing I love more then seeing the immediate love beam from a brides face and Hailey definitely had that.
Shooting in Cape cod meant so much to me as well, being back where my mom grew up and getting to be by the ocean. With a small romantic ceremony and reception it left plenty of time for the two of them to enjoy their day and take it all in.
I asked Hailey to share a little bit of her story with us below! Enjoy!
Cash and I met in Thailand on a study abroad in 2009. We were friends first but when we got home after our trip in Thailand we went on a date and it started from there. We have been together for 6 years before he proposed. So it wasn't a shocker when he proposed, I figured it would happen sooner than later. He proposed to me up in Park City at the St. Regis the day after my birthday with a book he had made by a professional illustrator. It was a children's book of our entire relationship from start to finish. The last page was of him proposing and when I looked at him he was down on one knee :)

As for the theme of the wedding I wanted the characteristics of a Bohemian/Nautical/Secret Garden/Romantic wedding look. We got married in the back yard of our neighbors house which was right by the water. So we figured the less decorations the better because the back drop was beautiful enough. Same for the reception. It was right on the ocean which was beautiful.
The favorite part of my day was the ceremony. I made sure to remind myself of the feelings and emotions I was feeling as I said my vows to him. I have never felt so happy, emotional, and loved in my life.
Nina came to me as a fellow photographer in need of updated portraits for her website. I loved this shoot because it was more than just simple portraits, I feel like we were able to capture a little bit of Nina's essence. This quote reminded me of her, "Some women fear the fire, some simply become it." Nina's session was all about showing what an empowered woman she is, along with her soft side. And of course, the amazing Jill did her makeup.
On that note, for those who were interested in my spring retreat (which sold out, thank you thank you!) I've launched another date! This one will be August 19th-21st in Utah. Email me at forthelove@emmylowephoto for more information!
I loved getting to photograph this darling lady! I seriously can't believe she is 18 years old! I always thought she was so much older! I am so excited to have her graduate and move on to amazing things!!!! XOXO
Seriously though? This gorgeous woman had her makeup done by the lovely Jill Peterson, she is amazing and so is Heather. I loved working with Heather and getting to see her stunning self! She is seriously so amazing.
