JONES FAMILY | Great Salt Lake

not working a ton lately but this family sessions gives me all the feels!!! Email me for info for this fall or winter!

Mara + Ivan | Snow Basin wedding

The best couple ever.

I had the best time photographing these two and being a part of their wedding day. While I'm taking a little break from weddings to have my sweet, I constantly am grateful for my clients I've had and enjoyed watching their love grow and being a part of it!

Hope you love and enjoy!

Hailey + Cash | A Cape Cod Wedding

Cash and Hailey, two of the sweetest, kindest people I have truly ever met. There is nothing I love more then seeing the immediate love beam from a brides face and Hailey definitely had that.

Shooting in Cape cod meant so much to me as well, being back where my mom grew up and getting to be by the ocean. With a small romantic ceremony and reception it left plenty of time for the two of them to enjoy their day and take it all in.

I asked Hailey to share a little bit of her story with us below! Enjoy!

Cash and I met in Thailand on a study abroad in 2009. We were friends first but when we got home after our trip in Thailand we went on a date and it started from there. We have been together for 6 years before he proposed. So it wasn't a shocker when he proposed, I figured it would happen sooner than later. He proposed to me up in Park City at the St. Regis the day after my birthday with a book he had made by a professional illustrator. It was a children's book of our entire relationship from start to finish. The last page was of him proposing and when I looked at him he was down on one knee :)

Dress: Marys bridal
Rings: antique from O.C. Tanner.
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Earrings: Antique, Cash's grandmas
Bridesmaids apparel: Davids Bridal, earrings Etsy: the fab bridal jewelry

Suit: Prada

Ring: Gold N' Diamonds.
Tie: H&M
Watch: Tag Heuer
Groomsmen:Ties from H&M

As for the theme of the wedding I wanted the characteristics of a Bohemian/Nautical/Secret Garden/Romantic wedding look. We got married in the back yard of our neighbors house which was right by the water. So we figured the less decorations the better because the back drop was beautiful enough. Same for the reception. It was right on the ocean which was beautiful.

The favorite part of my day was the ceremony. I made sure to remind myself of the feelings and emotions I was feeling as I said my vows to him. I have never felt so happy, emotional, and loved in my life.

For the Love Retreat Video

Hey there friends! So I am sitting here watching this video over and over and tears just flowing down my face. Granted I am a tad emotional today but then seeing this and seeing my dreams come to life, I just feel overwhelmed with happiness.

I wanted a video that represented me and represented what you get if you attend a retreat. Those things to me are happiness, motivation, feeling of success, and community. The girls that come to the retreats have a special place in my heart because while I am teaching them they are also teaching me. Teaching me to be aware of others in the industry, to help them grow with challenges, to watch them feel success as we are shooting and learning new things and then to take all of that back home and make a kick ass business.

I love this program and love what I do. I hope you can see that through this video, that was made absolutely perfect by Bri and Jan Robbins from Robbins Creative. They are so special to me and really made my dreams come to life.

Want to sign up for our December retreat in Palm Springs go here! Or email emmylowephoto@gmail.com we are offering a special for a short time and have 3 spots left.

Portland, Oregon | Travel Photos

I have been so excited for this blog post!

When I found out I would be shooting the cutest bride's wedding in Portland, I called my friend Haley to see if she would like to come along and make a little trip out of it! We spent a few days before the wedding exploring. We spent a day going down the coast, starting at Cannon Beach and ending at Cape Kiwanda. It sprinkled all day, and we drank way too much soda & listened to Serial.

We stayed in a cute little AIrbnb, ate a ton of pasta and then set out the next day to explore the Columbia Gorge. We visited the iconic Multnomah Falls, and then hiked a little in the POURING rain to another spectacular falls.

Can't wait to share the beautiful wedding that we photographed there. Enjoy these travel photos for now!
